Medisse, a medical device company, develops and produces medical devices among others resorbable, flexible implants, such as the FlexiSurge® Adhesion Barrier.

Medisse’s technology is fully protected by patents. Our platform is based on poly(trimethylene) carbonate or PTMC, a polymer that is fully biocompatible and has a unique combination of properties. Unlike other materials, Medisse’s PTMC material resorbs in the body via surface erosion and is exceedingly flexible. It keeps it function close to the medical need, and does not cause a burst of degradation products. Medisse has set out to develop this technology platform into multiple resorbable medical devices.
