Vivendy Therapeutics (CH)
Vivendy Therapeutics was founded in March 2006.
The company's mission is the development of an enzyme replacement therapy (ERT) for Morbus Morquio (Mucopolysaccharidosis - MPS IVA), a rare lysosomal storage disease (LSD). LSDs are inherited disorders caused by a deficiency of specific enzymes that are normally required for the breakdown of certain complex carbohydrates known as glycosaminoglycans (GAGs). Today, there is no therapy for MPS IVA in place, therefore the development of MPS IVA ERT adresses unmet medical needs with a high chance of success due to the fact that Vivendy is applying the established strategy of ERT.
