4- Antibody AG is building an internal product pipeline through discovery and development of fully human monoclonal antibodies applying its independent and unencumbered proprietary (4mAb™) technology platform.

The discovery stage internal pipeline consists of four projects against clinically validated cytokine targets, one against a clinically validated oncology target and one against a clinically validated viral target.

The internal programmes are/ will be available for partnered co- development/ out- licensing.

Two of the cytokine programmes and the anti- viral programme have reached lead optimisation stage. Candidate selection for these three programmes is anticipated during the 2nd half of 2008; the first IND’s are expected from early 2010 onwards.

The 4mAb™ technology is capable of affinity maturing existing monoclonal antibodies and of developing de- novo monoclonal antibodies against all possible targets, from a wide variety of starting materials (eg. patient materials, libraries). The 4mAb™ platform is independent from all existing IP.

The 4mAb™ technology is also available for non- exclusive licensing across all targets possible.

Sijmen de Vries, MD, MBA, Chief Executive Officer.

Prior to joining 4- Antibody AG in June 2006, Dr. de Vries was CEO of Morphochem AG (Munich and Basel) from August 2004 and after the merger with Biovertis, Vorstand of Biovertis AG (Vienna). Prior to that, he served as Head Global Business Development and Licensing for Novartis Ophthalmics and as Global Brand Director GI at Novartis Pharma. Before joining Novartis, he was Chief Executive Officer of the Rademacher Group Ltd, a biotech start- up from University College London. From 1986-1997 he was at SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals, initially in the Netherlands, later on at Global HQ in Brentford UK, in various positions of increasing seniority. Dr. de Vries is a non-executive Director in two privately held healthcare companies. He has a Medical Doctor Degree from University of Amsterdam and an MBA from Ashridge Management College (UK).
