KREATECH designs, manufactures and markets an extensive range of FISH probes and labeling kits. The Company owns a unique and proprietary technology; the Universal Linkage System (ULS™) for non-enzymatic, direct labeling and detection of DNA, RNA and proteins and microarray applications.

Markets
Within the molecular diagnostics market KREATECH’s focus is on prenatal, genetic and cancer testing, the fastest growing segments. KREATECH has its own sales teams in Germany, France and Benelux and a global network of dedicated distributors.

Alexander Altink, Chief Executive Officer

Alexander Altink joined KREATECH in 2000 as Chief Executive Officer. After receiving a BSc in economics he worked from 1976 to 1987 as a financial controller, country- and regional manager with a trading company in Latin America and the USA. He returned to the Netherlands in the function of Business Unit Manager with van Ommeren & Ceteco. There he was responsible for the global reorganization of the retail, wholesale and production segment of the company. As member of the Board of Management he successfully organized the IPO of Ceteco's retail operation. In his function as COO he continued with Ceteco until the end of 1999. He has the appropriate background in the management of companies growing from small sized to over 2000 employees.
