MOVETIS is a Belgian biopharmaceutical company founded November 2006. It specializes in developing compounds for gastrointestinal (GI) disorders, licensed from Janssen Pharmaceutica NV, Belgium and Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceutical Inc., US, two JNJ companies.
MOVETIS has a portfolio of 8 products and 2 discovery platforms in areas of unmet medical need including severe, chronic constipation, ascites, pediatric regurgitation, diabetic gastroparesis and severe forms of c-IBS, dyspepsia and diarrhea.
MOVETIS has secured a 49 Mio Euro series A financing from major European and US investors.
RESOLOR, prucalopride, is an “enterokinetic” compound that acts primarily on lower GI motility and is indicated for the treatment of severe forms of chronic constipation.
M0002 is indicated for treatment of ascites, an accumulation of fluid caused by liver malfunction in patients such as cirrhosis or hepatitis C.
M0003 and M0004 are compounds that act on the motility of the upper GI tract.

Invited speaker to different events including European & UK Market Research Association, Belgian Association of Industry Pharmacists, Belgian and European Biotech Investor. Past-Member of a Pharma Think Thank group out of INSEAD Fontainebleau.
