Santaris Pharma, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, employs 100 people. The Company is building an international biopharmaceutical business for the 21st century, focused on the new field of RNA medicines. The Company has exclusive rights to LNA antisense technology used to develop new classes of medicines targeted against cancer, metabolic disorders and viral disease. A €40m second financing round was completed in 2006 and a €20m third financing round was completed in 2007. Together with Enzon Pharmaceuticals the Company develops and commercialises RNA Antagonists targeted against cancer and GlaxoSmithKline has the options to up to four RNA antagonists targeted against viral disease.

Henrik Stage is responsible for the company's financial affairs as its Chief Financial Officer as well as all aspects of the company's administration, including IT, facilities, management, and human resources. He has a strong and diverse background in finance, operations, investor relations, business development and strategic planning, based on his experience from several executive positions in companies in Denmark, Canada and Vietnam.
